The Couples Workshop

What Most Couples Never Learn About Making a Relationship Work
A 60-minute, in-person workshop designed to help you understand your relationship more clearly, recognise unhelpful patterns, and learn practical skills that actually work.
What Is This Workshop?
A 60-minute, in-person workshop where you and your partner sit together and learn what actually makes relationships work.
You’ll understand the patterns that create distance, and what helps couples feel connected again.
No exercises. No pressure to talk.
There’s no group sharing and nothing you’re expected to do on the spot.

You’ll recognise common patterns that create tension and disconnection — often with those quiet “that’s us” moments.
It’s not about being told what to do — it’s about seeing your relationship clearly.
The workshop is based on the Gottman Method, a globally respected, evidence-based approach that focuses on understanding what helps relationships actually work.
"We realised the things we were doing that were causing us to drift
apart from each other - it made so much sense!" Jo and Phil
WHAT YOU'LL DISCOVER
Why staying connected can feel harder than it should
You’ll see the patterns that quietly create distance — even when there’s love.
How to talk in a way that feels safe, honest and kind
Simple ways to communicate so you both feel heard — without blame, defensiveness, or shutdown.
How to find your way back to each other
What helps you feel connected again — and how to rebuild closeness in small, meaningful ways.
WHAT YOU'LL TAKE AWAY
Most couples leave seeing their relationship differently — often for the first time.

You’ll leave with:
-
"Light‑bulb" moments that help things finally make sense
-
A calmer, more grounded perspective on your relationship
-
Greater understanding of each other, without blame
-
A fresh way of looking at your relationship you can reflect on together
Many couples say the biggest shift is simply clarity — and how much lighter things feel when that clarity clicks.
REAL COUPLES. REAL LIFE. REAL CHANGE.
Every couple who comes to this workshop has their own story.
Some feel like they've been drifting apart.
Some are arguing more than usual.
Others can't quite explain what's changed,
they just know they want things to feel better.
Do any of the couples below sound familiar to you?
The "Something Feels Off" Couple
Nothing is "wrong," but something feels muted.
There's a quiet distance neither can quite explain.
They still care deeply.
They just want to feel close again.
What they're hoping for:
Greater awareness, a fresh perspective,
and simple tools to reconnect.

The "We Keep Arguing" Couple
Small things blow up. Conversations go in circles.
They love each other but can't
seem to stop butting heads.
They're tired of the same fights and
want away out of the pattern.
What they're hoping for:
Understanding why it keeps happening
and how to break the cycle.
The "We've Stopped Talking" Couple
It's easier to say nothing than risk
another argument.
They've become polite housemates
more than partners.
The warmth is still there somewhere
buried under silence.
What they're hoping for:
A safe way to start reconnecting
without pressure or confrontation.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do we have to share personal issues in front of the group?
No. You and your partner sit together privately. There's no group sharing, no speaking required, and no one is put on the spot.
Is this therapy or counselling?
No. This is an educational workshop focused on insight and awareness — not emotional processing or ongoing therapy. If you wanted more personised support check out our Couples Clarity session here
What if we're not in a really bad place, but - things just don't feel great?
That's exactly who this is for. Many couples attend because something feels "off" and they want to reconnect before it turns into something bigger.
What if we've been arguing more than usual?
The workshop can still be helpful if both partners feel safe and are willing to be open to learning new things. If things are currently very volatile, this is not the right workshop for you.
What if we're doing great and just want to learn more?
You'll love this workshop too! Even the experts get something out of it. Relationships are are an ongoing process and being aware of what may create issues in the future is so insightful. Couples that learn together - grow together ;)
Will we be put on the spot or asked to talk in front of others?
No. You don't have to share or speak about yourself or your relationship.
Is this suitable for newer couples as well as long-term relationships?
Yes. Couples at all stages attend. The focus is on understanding patterns and strengthening connection, not how long you've been together.
What happens after the workshop?
Some couples simply take what they've learned and apply it themselves. Others choose to explore private coaching with Ramona for more personalised support.
