We offer grief counselling in Williams Landing to give you support when you’re dealing with loss, whether recent or long ago.

At Inner Bliss Wellbeing, I provide a calm, supportive space to help you process grief, understand your emotions, and move forward in a way that feels manageable and real.

Grief doesn’t follow a straight line. It can show up as sadness, anxiety, numbness, guilt, or feeling stuck. Even when life looks fine on the outside, the loss can still sit underneath everything.

What grief counselling can help with

  • Loss of a loved one or pet

  • Sudden or traumatic loss

  • Unresolved grief from the past

  • Feeling stuck, numb, or disconnected

  • Guilt, regret, or unanswered questions

  • Loss that’s hard to explain or process

How I work

Grief counselling is not about “moving on” or forgetting. It’s about understanding what you’re feeling, making sense of your experience, and allowing your system to process what hasn’t been processed yet.

Sessions are supportive, practical, and at your pace.

Induced After Death Communication (IADC)

I also offer Induced After Death Communication (IADC), a structured therapy approach developed from EMDR.

IADC is designed specifically for grief and loss. It can help reduce the intensity of grief and, for some people, create a sense of connection, resolution, or peace around the person who has passed.

This is different from general counselling and is offered as a focused two-session process.

Grief Counselling FAQs

How does grief counselling help?
Grief counselling provides a supportive space to process loss, understand your emotions, and make sense of what you’re going through. It can help reduce the intensity of grief, ease emotional overwhelm, and support you to move forward at your own pace.

How long does grief counselling take?
There is no set timeline. Some people find relief in a few sessions, while others benefit from ongoing support, especially if the grief is complex or has been carried for a long time.

What is IADC therapy?
Induced After Death Communication (IADC) is a structured therapy approach developed from EMDR, specifically for grief and loss. It is designed to help reduce the emotional intensity of grief and, for some people, create a sense of connection, resolution, or peace. IADC is typically offered as a focused two-session process.

Is grief counselling right for me?

Grief counselling may be helpful if you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, numb, or struggling to process a loss. It can also support you if the loss happened a long time ago but still feels unresolved or continues to impact your daily life.
